Ying Fook Lin 邢福麟 started working on his solo art exhibition while he works and live in Shanghai ( 2007 -2014 ) .

As he has a full time job working on space, visual, display design all his life, he did not find any opportunities to present his art. His ambitious to be and artist was his dream since he was a kid.

1st Solo Exhibition

Finally at his age of 50 his dream came true when he was given a gallery space in M50 SNL Space, East Link Gallery, Shanghai.

Every gallery space character was an important form where he enjoys using his art work to arranged and decorate the interior of the gallery space to create the overall solo exhibition as a piece of installation art that could tell the story of this art concept theme.

He spent most of his life time in Taipei, Taiwan. After his first exhibition in Shanghai, he moves back to Taiwan. He grabs every opportunity he was given for him to play with his art.

2nd & 3rd Solo Exhibition

Kaohsiung Ham Gallery was his second gift given to present his second solo show and later Taipei Walley art gallery.

Every space of this galleries is unique that makes Ying Fook Lin felt very satisfy with his art work displayed. His art is always in Pink. His Solo Art concept theme is always relates to his family.

The material he used to create his art work varies from industrial used material, pink light bulbs, canvas, oil, acrylic, papers, color pencils, threads, used packaging, furnitures, recycle materials……

When he decides on the theme concept of his solo art exhibition. it will let his emotions carries along into the works he creates.

Pink color is a beautiful color or its a color the Artist likes most and when it is something is liked by the artist….. the flow of creative process is very enjoyable and Pink was definitely a challenging color for a male artist or an artist . But the power of pink reflects the character , the culture background of his race , playful and even the touch emotions sense connection of beauty and thinking of Ying Fook Lin.

Ying Fook Lin was born in Malaysia, his art education started since secondary school in Malaysia. His Architecture studies in Singapore and working and living locations in Singapore, Taiwan and Shanghai. Grandparents origin from Hainan Island.
